Training Tobacco Peer Education Teams

In this one-day fun filled interactive workshop, we will train youth and their advisors to provide peer education on the dangers of tobacco to students at their school, or to their feeder schools. We will focus on the latest information about the dangers of tobacco and their immediate consequences. We will also look at how tobacco companies and media attempt to seduce and manipulate young people into using tobacco. We will explore different techniques and interactive games to get your message out, and practice role-plays for use back in the classroom. We will also look at how you can create school wide anti-tobacco activities and advocacy projects. We expect you to leave excited and ready to share this information with your fellow peers!
